Description of location:
The building is located on the southern edge of Sachsenhausen. It is about a 20-minute walk to Frankfurt city centre. There is a bus stop in front of the building with several and frequent buses to the city. The location has been enhanced by the supermarket with bakery, which is located directly behind the Sonnenring in Mailänder Straße. You can shop there between 7:00 and 22:00. For visitors, there is a large car park on the opposite side. There are also other smaller shops and a pharmacy (with delivery service) on Hainer Weg, about five minutes away.
City district: Sachsenhausen
Public transport connection:
4 bus lines stop in front of the house, with connections to the south train station, main train station, airport and Offenbach
General noise level of location: Near Airport
Supplement to noise level: The flight path for the approach to the Rhine-Main Airport lies slightly south of the residential complex i.e. the air traffic is still a good distance away and, incidentally, fantastic to see up to the airport in the distance. Also the Frankfurt Waldstadion - pardon, the Deutsche Bank Arena is clearly visible from the magnificent viewing terrace.
Development of bicycle routes: By bike, you can quickly get to the city forest and explore the many bike and hiking trails there. By bike as well as by bus, you can go to the very popular Schweizerstraße, which stretches all the way to the banks of the Main River and offers entertainment, shopping, and a small daily fresh fruit market on Schweizer Platz. Here you will find what you are looking for in vain elsewhere, from the top-class organic farm store, to the French bakery café, the two well-known Äbbelwoi restaurants (Zum Gemalten Haus and Wagner's; please never ask for a beer there!), a mini-Milano ice cream parlor...an endless number of stores, little stores and restaurants to fill your whole day and week with. In general, Sachsenhausen is the most beautiful district of Frankfurt.
