Egelsbach is a municipality in the Offenbach district and enjoys a convenient location within the Rhine-Main metropolitan region – approximately 16 km south of Frankfurt and 14 km north of Darmstadt. The municipality combines village charm with a slightly urban character thanks to a well-established industrial park.
Langener Straße is characterized by established residential buildings and also serves as an important bicycle route to the secondary schools in Langen.

Schools, kindergardens ect.: The Wilhelm-Leuschner primary school, with its attached after-school care program (also open during school holidays), is located in the village itself. Secondary schools of all types are available in the directly adjacent town of Langen and can be easily reached by bicycle or bus via Langener Straße.
